This is a study of the Service Quality of the Front Office Department at Seagull Hotel. Based on the analysis results of the information from Seagull Hotel, this study (a) states why author choose this topic, (b) gives some definitions involved in the hotel and Front Office Department, (c) analyses and evaluates the Service Quality of the Front Office Department at Seagull Hotel. This graduation paper investigates the real situation and provides solutions to improving the service quality of the Reception Department at Hoi An Historic Hotel. This case study is carried out based on the theoretical background and the practical data. To obtain the results, I have collected all of the main related information about the hotel, tourist, etc. from the primary and secondary sources, such as textbooks, the Internet, as well as the data of the Reception Department and the customer’s evaluations of the hotel through my survey, findings, and observation. Based on this information,author would offer some characteristics of staff, service, organizational structure and tourist resource of the hotel, then propose some suggestions to improve the service quality of the Receptionist.

Part A is the introduction of the graduation paper including rationale, aims and objectives, scope of the study, method of the study and study’s organization. Part B includes: Chapter I is theoretical background about hotel business and Reception Department. Chapter II is case description describing the overview of at the Reception Department at Da Nang Riverside hotel. Chapter Iii includes real situation and solution at the Reception Department with the analysis and evaluation. Part C is the conclusion.
