In the study, eighty- eight patients with acute appendicitis were treated with LA, the ratio of male to female = 1.46 The incidence of SSI is 9.1% of which superficial infection accounts for 100%. The study results conclude that the risk factors for SSI following LA include: age, diabetes, nutritional, change the incision bandage.
