This is a book written by the director and founder of the Global Water Policy Project, Ms. Sandra Postel. The title of the book is “The Last Oasis” including three chapters. In which, the chapter I has the topic “Trouble on Tap”, chapter II “Living Within Water’s Limits” and the last one “Toward Water Security”. Nevertheless, because the time is short, I only choose to translate chapter II with topic “Living Within Water’s Limits”. This paper contains the original version, the suggested version, and the analysis of vocabulary and structures for the translation process. Moreover, it also presents my difficulties and solutions in the translation. Finally, some implications are suggested.
