31842Introductory circuit analysis: 13th edition

Introductory Circuit Analysis, the number one acclaimed text in the field for over three decades, is a clear and interesting information source on a complex topic. The Thirteenth Edition contains updated insights on the highly technical subject, providing readers with the most current information in circuit analysis. With updated software components and challenging review questions at the end of each chapter, this text engages readers in a profound understanding of Circuit Analysis.

31843Introductory econometrics

Discover how empirical researchers today actually consider and apply econometric methods with the practical approach in Wooldridge's Introductory econometrics. Unlike traditional texts, this book uniquely demonstrates how econometrics has moved beyond a set of abstract tools to become genuinely useful for answering questions in business, policy evaluation, and forecasting.

31844Introductory econometrics : a modern approach

Text recognizing that econometrics has moved from a specialized mathematical description of economics to an applied interpretation based on empirical research techniques. Bridges the gap between the mechanics of econometrics and modern applications of econometrics by employing a systematic approach.

31845Introductory econometrics : a modern approach : 7th ed.

Part 1. Regression analysis with cross-sectional data. Part 2. Regression analysis with time series data. Part 3. Advanced topics.

31846Introductory physics : building understanding

For over two decades, physics education research has been transforming physics teaching and learning. Now in this new algebra based introductory physics text, Jerry Touger taps this work to support new teaching methodologies in physics. "Introductory Physics: Building Understanding" recognizes that students learn better in guided active learning environments, engages students in a conceptual exploration of the physical phenomena before mathematical formalisms, and offers explicit guidance in using qualitative thinking to inform quantitative problem solving.

31847Introductory statistics : 3rd ed.

Written to supplement any introductory course on applied statistics, this text features a range of case studies that provide additional illustrations of the concepts described. There is also detailed instruction on the use of the Minitab package.

31850Invariants for pattern recognition and classification

This book was conceived from the realization that there was a need to update recent work on invariants in a single volume providing a useful set of references and pointers to related work. This book represents a snapshot of current research around the world.A version of this collection of papers has appeared in the International Journal of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence (December 1999). The papers in this book are extended versions of the original material published in the journal. They are organized into two categories: foundations and applications. Foundation papers present new ways of defining or analyzing invariants, and application papers present novel ways in which known invariant theory is extended and effectively applied to real-world problems in interesting and difficult contexts. Each category contains roughly half of the papers, but there is considerable overlap. All papers carry an element of novelty and generalization that will be useful to theoreticians and practitioners alike. It is hoped that this volume will be not only useful but also inspirational to researchers in image processing, pattern recognition and computer vision at large.
