The text that I selected to translate is “Social Media Marketing: The Next Generation of Business Engagement”. There are a lot of sectors of the book to study, such as the new role of the customer, build a social business, social media and customer engagement, etc. However, within the scope of the paper and due to time limitation, this paper only focuses on some parts of the book with 4,118 words. The paper will also show and analyze the difficulties with which I met when translating, for example marketing terms, the way to use English grammar and syntactic structures as well as word’s semantics in marketing fields.
