This graduation paper is about the translation of Chapter 3- Culture and Culture-Learning Process from "The Human Diversity in Education" by Kenneth Cushner, Averil McClelland, Philip Safford . The graduation paper includes the original version , the suggested translation, and the analysis of vocabulary and structures during the translation process. Moreover , the paper also presents some my difficulties I‘ve encountered during my ttranslation and some solutions for them.

This paper is carried out with the aim of translating chapter 14 ““Early Adulthood: Emotional and Social Development” in the book “Human development”- by Thomas L. Crandell, Corinne Hannies Crandell and Jame. W. Vander Zanden, 2009 from English into Vietnamese and analyzing its vocabulary and structures. Translation theory that proved helpful in the translation process and in the subsequent analysis was primary.

My graduation paper is accomplished with the aim of translating the Menu, the third chapter of the book "Foodservice organization – a managerial and system approach‟, from English into Vietnamese. Society in English and Vietnamese are a ‘fertile land’ where this study can investigate and discover the basic characteristics of human life. Based on the analysis result of the achieved statistical information detected from the embedded cultural elements, argumentation as well as society, this study will describe the important steps in the relationship between an individual and social world, and point out features in each stages. Next, the implications for language teaching and learning, for translators as well as anyone who are interested in social speeches are put forward. Finally, further researches are suggested for those who are in favor of this topic to go on perfecting this research.
