Part A is the introduction of the graduation paper including rationale, aims and objectives, scope of the study, method of the study and study’s organization. Part B includes: Chapter I is theoretical background about hotel business and Reception Department. Chapter II is case description describing the overview of at the Reception Department at Da Nang Riverside hotel. Chapter Iii includes real situation and solution at the Reception Department with the analysis and evaluation. Part C is the conclusion.

My graduation paper is carried out with the aim of translating the introduction and chapter 1 of the book “12 Rules of Life” From English to Vietnamese. Another purpose of this graduation paper is the analysis of procedures of translating the text from which the difficulties and corresponding solutions are suggested.

This graduation thesis is a suggested translation from rule 57 to rule 65 (page 117- page 137) of part ii: Partnership rules from the book "The rules of life: a personal code for living a better, happier, more successful life" by Richard Templar, 2005. Besides, author also analyze some necessary issues such asvocabulary and structure in this work. In addition, through this graduation thesis, author find out some difficulties that students often confuse in translation and put forward some effective solutions.
