This graduation paper is a suggested translation of chapter 1, 2 & 3 (P1-P17) named: “Quinceañera”, “Nightmares” and “Lessons” of the book: “learning to dance” by Karri Justina Shea. I analyze just about significant questions such as vocabulary, structures in this study. Moreover, through the process of translating chapters, I realized that there were a lot of situations in translation that students need to know how to solve it.

This thesis presents the proposed version of the original chapter in the book and provides some terms and vocabulary in the issue of education. Moreover, it presents some difficulties and solutions that occur during the translation process, especially when translating some phrases and sentences related to the education problem. This graduate document will help translators gain some experience during the translation process.

Chapter 1. Is theoretical background about translation; Chapter 2. Is original version of chapter 10 and the first three pages of chapter 11, which is followed by my suggested translation; Chapter 3. Contains the analysis of some typical difficult words, idioms, phrases and structures; Chapter 4. Consists of difficulties which I met and solutions which help me overcome these difficulties.

This graduation paper is about Vietnamese translation about the book “No-Drama Discipline”. I translate Chapter 2 “Your Brain on Discipline” from English to Vietnamese. Furthermore, in the graduation paper, I also analyze some necessary, difficult vocabulary and structure in the section. Through analyzing the process, I found out some difficulties for me as well as students to can overcome their faults in their translation.

This paper is a suggested translation of Chapter 4 “Deeper learning” in the book “Education for life and work: Developing Transferable Knowledge and Skills in the 21st Century” First, I give a general introduction about the reasons for choosing the topic, then translate the English version into Vietnamese version. Next, I analyze the vocabulary and complicated structures and give the suggested translation version. The difficulties in the translation process and some essential solutions are suggested at the end of the graduation paper.
