Author translate chapter 5 named: “Serving the Travel Customer” from the book “Connecting with Customers: How to Sell, Service, and Market the Travel Product” by Marc Mancini. Firstly, author give a general introduction about the reasons for choosing the topic, then translate the English version into Vietnamese version. Besides, I also analyze some necessary issues such as vocabularies and structures in this chapter. The difficulties in the translation and some essential solutions are suggested at the end of the graduation paper.

This thesis extracted from: “A really high hurdle, Japan’s abusive transgender legal recognition process.” and I will focus on the part: “The Methodology part, part II: Impact of Japan’s Legal Gender Recognition System and part III: Japan’s Legal System’s Treatment of Transgender People.” Firstly, I will explain the reason why I choose this book, and give a suggest translation and analyze the specific or difficult terms or structures for the next part. Finnaly, with all experiences during this paper, I will give some advandtages and disadvantages when I learn English.

Chapter I is theoretical background about translation. Chapter II is original version (the first 12 pages) of chapter 6: “Consumer attraction to sport and events”, which is followed by my suggested translation. Chapter III contains the analysis of some typical difficult words, idioms, phrases and structures. Chapter IV consists of difficulties which I encounter and solutions which help me overcome these difficulties.

The text that I selected to translate is “Guidelines on Safety Management of Amusement Park Devices” written by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health and Ministry of Human resources in Malaysia. The graduation paper is translated from the original version and given the analysis of a suggested translation of the book. Besides, the paper will list some difficulties that I face in translation process. Finally, some essential solutions are suggested.

This paper is a suggested translation of chapter 2 “The Natural Setting” in the book “The elusive Eden ­ a new history of California”. First, the student gives a general introduction about the reasons for choosing the topic, then translating the English version into Vietnamese version. Next, the student analyzes the vocabulary and complicated structures of the suggested translation version. The difficulties in the translation, and some essential solutions are suggested at the end of the graduation paper.
