This paper is carried out with the aim of translating chapter 1, 2 and a haft of chapter 3 of the book “The Myths of the Viet Nam war” of Robert F. Turner from English into Vietnamese. Another of this paper is the analysis of procedures of translating the text from which the difficulties and corresponding solution are suggested.
