Dengue viruses, which consist of four distinct serotypes, belong to the Flavivirus family, one of the most important arthropod-borne pathogen groups for humans. Vietnam is among the tropical countries that have endemic dengue outbreaks, and in 2022, the number of infections as well as fatal cases reached a record high, causing a great economic burden to the public health system. Although all four dengue serotypes have been circulating in Vietnam, serotypes 1 and 2 have been dominating in the last few decades.

Environmental pollution problems caused by petroleum and its derivatives such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) has remarkably increased and become a major global threat to human health and ecological equilibrium, resulting in a crucial need for remediation. Recently, in order to solve this problem, biofilm is one of the biodegradation approaches which could degrade and transform oil components effectively. Moreover, to enhance the petroleum hydrocarbons removal efficiency and easy to apply in any place bio-carriers, biochar was used to attach biofilm-forming microorganisms. Biochar is not only used as a carrier for microorganisms but also a source of substrates to help absorb a part of aromatic compounds. Therefore, in this investigation, we used the mixture of multiple petroleum-degrading and biofilm-forming bacterial strains immobilized on husk biochar to create an oil-degrading product. The ability of oil-degrading bacteria immobilized on biochar, planktonic bacteria and biochar without bacteria on the elimination of total petroleum hydrocarbons and several aromatic hydrocarbons was investigated.

The article deals with gas thermal spraying technology for spraying or welding the layer of materials that are resistant to abrasion and grinding in environments with the impact of moisture. The author has proposed inexpensive materials and atmospheric plasma injection technology to lower the cost of products. This technology also has the potential to be applied in new construction or restoration of some duo parts of internal combustion engines.

The compressive strength (CS) of concrete mixes is a crucial parameter. This paper aims to construct an artificial neural network (ANN) model for interval estimation of the CS of concrete blended with ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBFS). The nonlinear regression based method is employed to derive the prediction intervals.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the current situation of applying DfS in visual communication design training in Vietnam. Besides, the study clarifies not only the current motivations, but also the existing hindrances when applying this trend at educational institutions with training courses in communication design in our country.

This article focuses on clarifying the role of fashion designers and assessing their ability to address the challenges in the industry. The results show that fashion designers play an important role in promoting the transformation of the fashion industry to be more sustainable; They are the pioneers in orienting and spreading sustainable fashion to consumers and the community.

This paper presents the results of building an oscillation analysis tool on a motor vehicle with an oscillating isolation pillow as a basis for calculating and designing electromagnetic damping pillows to reduce vibrations on this motor vehicle.

A kesterite Cu2ZnSn(SxSe1-x)4 (CZTSSe) thin film is fabricated on a Mo-coated glass substrate by a non-vacuum spray pyrolysis method from an aqueous precursor solution containing Cu(NO3)2, Zn(NO3)2, Sn(CH3SO3)2 and thiourea followed by sulfurization and selenization at 600°C. The fabricated CZTSSe thin film shows high crystallinity with optimal Cu-poor and Zn-rich compositions, which is confirmed by the X-ray diffraction pattern, Raman spectrum, and Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy results.

In this paper, we study laws of large number for random weighted sums of random variables with regularly varying tailed and application. Firstly, we use the theory of slowly varying functions to establish the law of large. Then, we apply this result to estimate non parametric regression models by the k-nearest neighbors.
