2204An analysis of the suggested translation of chapter 8 from the book “Surrounded by idiots” by Thomas Erikson, 2014
The book “Surrounded by idiots” by Thomas Erikson was originally published in 2014. It is about the personality of a person. Because of the limited time, i decide chose to translate chapter 8: “No one is completely perfect: strengths and weaknesses” (from English into Vietnamese) so that those interested in the book can easily understand and grasp the main points of this book. In addition, I also analyze some essential issues such as polyclonal words and complex grammatical structures in this chapter. Through that analysis I find out difficulties in the translation process and propose solutions for translation activities in general and book activities in particular.
