An analysis of the suggested translation of chapters 1&2 from the book “Beautiful world where are you” by Sally Rooney, 2021
Tóm tắt:
This graduation paper is about the Vietnamese translation of the book “Beautiful world, where are you” written by Sally Rooney. Due to time limitations, I decided to translate from chapter 1 to chapter 2 of this book. The theoretical background, the original version, and the suggested translation. Besides, I examined the graduation paper's tough vocabulary and structures such as phrasal verb, figure of speech, complex and compound sentences, dummy subjects, and so on to make it easily accessible to those interested in this topic. Additionally, I discovered some solutions to overcome obstacles that caused me tension during the translation process through the analyzing process. They are all presented at the end of the graduate paper. Furthermore, this graduate paper was completed in time.
