An analysis of the suggested translation of chapter 1 from the book “primal leadership: realizing the power of emotional intelligence” by Daniel Goleman, Richard E. Boyatzis & Annie Mckee, 2002

The primary purpose of this graduation paper is to translate the original version of chapter I: “Primal leadership” by Daniel Goleman, Richard E. Boyatzis & Annie McKee from English into Vietnamese. Otherwise, another aim of this study we analyze the difficult vocabulary and structures which are in the original text. Moreover, this study also practices translating the text based on the content and context of the proposed translation. Finally, after doing this report, I also found some difficulties when students translate this book and gave some solutions to help students overcome and translate more effectively. I hope that through the translation of this book, I can bring you useful knowledge in controlling personal emotions to be effective at work and in life.
