This graduation paper belongs to chapter 1 “Introduction – Planet, Oceans and Life” of the book “ The First of Global Integrated Marine Assessment” edited by United Nations, Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea and Office of Legal Affairs. The chaper is translated into Vietnamese, and then, some important points will be analyzed particularly. Besides, there are also difficulties that I face in translation process.
