Resumed the way T-cells are regulated between active and inactive states. The discovery of two receptors for the transduction of inhibitory signals, the cytotoxic T-cell receptor and the programmed cell death receptor, is presented in the second part. Disrupting the backward process of Tcells by blocking these receptors triggers the actions of T-cells against cancer cells and brings hope for cancer patients. In the third section, we discussed the developments of three groups of antibodies for anti-cancer purposes and their potentials in cancer treatments.
This research work aims at implementing a swarm intelligence based approach for solving complex constrained optimization tasks. The ε Particle Swarm Optimization (ε PSO) is selected as the employed global optimizer. This optimization method is developed in Python to facilitate its implementations. The newly developed program has been tested with two basic design problems in civil engineering.
An experimental study on compressive strength of mortar mixes containing different amounts of rice husk ash (5, 10, 20%) has been investigated. The impact of different elevated temperatures (150, 300, 450, 750oC) on mortar strength is also examined. The experiments found that RHA can be used in its untreated form up to 10% as cementitious replacement without detriment of mortar compressive strength.

Urbanization creates various challenging issues, such as air pollution, noise pollution, traffic accidents, and heat island effects. These issues have flagged up the need for solutions to enhance public health in urban environments. It is evident that urban green spaces bring about significant physical and psychological benefits. Therefore, information on their spatial distribution is crucial for urban management and planning. This paper relies on remote sensing images, collected from Sentinel-2 satellite, to preliminarily map the green space in Da Nang city.
This research work relies on kernel regression methods for constructing nonlinear regression models. These models can be used to solve function approximation tasks in construction engineering. The newly developed software program was developed with the Visual C# .NET. The program has been tested with the task of estimating the punching shear strength of steel fibre reinforced concrete slab.
