Đánh giá hiệu quả giảm đau của bài thuốc tam tý thang kết hợp điện xung trên bệnh nhân thoái khớp gối

Study Objective: Evaluate the effect of decoction of Tam Ty Thang traditional medicine combing electrical impulses for reducing pain in treatment of knee degeneration. Study Methods: Clinical intervention method used with comparative and control. The study carried on total 60 patients who were diagnosed with knee degeneration (ACR 1991). These patients were divided into two groups: group I used orally decoction of Tam Ty Thang traditional medicine combining with electrical impulses; group II used only orally decoction of Tam Ty Thang traditional medicine during 30 days. Study Results: In group I, after 30days of treatment, there are reducing average points of VAS, Lequesne and Womax which are 6.03 +/- 1.61 (points), 10.17+/-3.02 (points) and 7.27 (points). Study Conclusion: Using decoction of Tam Ty Thang traditional medicine combing electrical impulses for reducing pain brings good and quick results in treatment for knee degeneration.
