Tóm tắt:
In this paper, we examined the ambiguous and often misused global citizenship concept. Transnational capitalist class was identified to be the dominant narrative of global citizenship in reality; which, in our view, deviates notably from the original ideology. We adopted a new categorisation of the world population based on four income levels to develop the concept responsible global citizen that is more capable to deal with the contemporary sustainability challenges. The result of the paper is a guideline of sustainable and responsible behaviours which one could use to become a more responsible global citizen.
