31581Introduction to 3D game programming with DirectX 11

The book is divided into three main parts: basic mathematical tools, fundamental tasks in Direct3D, and techniques and special effects. It includes new Direct3D 11 features such as hardware tessellation and the compute shader, and covers advanced rendering techniques such as ambient occlusion, normal and displacement mapping, shadow rendering, particle systems, and character animation. Includes a companion DVD with code and figures.

31582Introduction to accounting: An intergrate approach: 2nd ed.

Introduction to accounting: An intergrate approach revolves around three major themes such as Accounting is an information system which serves two diverse sets of users; Operating events followed by financing and investing events; Businesses operate by planning activities, then performing (recording) those activities, and finally evaluating/ controlling those activities.

31583Introduction to air transport economics : from theory to applications : 3rd ed.

This book offers a self-contained theory and applications-oriented text for any individual intent on entering the aviation industry as a practicing professional in the management area. It will be of greatest relevance to undergraduate and graduate students interested in obtaining a more complete understanding of the economics of the aviation industry. It will also appeal to many professionals who seek an accessible and practical explanation of the underlying economic forces that shape the industry.

31585Introduction to Algorithms: 2nd edition

Introduction to Algorithms uniquely combines rigor and comprehensiveness. The book covers a broad range of algorithms in depth, yet makes their design and analysis accessible to all levels of readers. Each chapter is relatively self-contained and can be used as a unit of study. The algorithms are described in English and in a pseudocode designed to be readable by anyone who has done a little programming. The explanations have been kept elementary without sacrificing depth of coverage or mathematical rigor.

31586Introduction to applied linear algebra : vectors, matrices, and least squares

This groundbreaking textbook combines straightforward explanations with a wealth of practical examples to offer an innovative approach to teaching linear algebra. Requiring no prior knowledge of the subject, it covers the aspects of linear algebra - vectors, matrices, and least squares - that are needed for engineering applications, discussing examples across data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence, signal and image processing, tomography, navigation, control, and finance. The numerous practical exercises throughout allow students to test their understanding and translate their knowledge into solving real-world problems, with lecture slides, additional computational exercises in Julia and MATLAB®, and data sets accompanying the book online.

31587Introduction to ASP.Net

This comprehensive book will not only tackle beginning Web Programming and how to create and maintain interactive and dynamic Web applications, it will also explore the Internet as an essential business tool. This book guides the reader from beginning Web applications, to object oriented programming, to using advanced Web form server controls.

31589Introduction to A-trees

The theory of Λ-trees has its origin in the work of Lyndon on length functions in groups. The first definition of an R-tree was given by Tits in 1977. The importance of Λ-trees was established by Morgan and Shalen, who showed how to compactify a generalisation of Teichmüller space for a finitely generated group using R-trees. In that work they were led to define the idea of a Λ-tree, where Λ is an arbitrary ordered abelian group. Since then there has been much progress in understanding the structure of groups acting on R-trees, notably Rips' theorem on free actions. There has also been some progress for certain other ordered abelian groups Λ, including some interesting connections with model theory.Introduction to Λ-Trees will prove to be useful for mathematicians and research students in algebra and topology.

31590Introduction to automata theory, languages and computation

This book presents automata theory, formal languages, and computational complexity as a coherent theory. It includes end-of-chapter questions, bibliographies, and exercises. Problems of highest and intermediate difficulty are marked respectively with double or single stars.
