This study attempts to obtain a thorough understanding of two-word verbs in economic field of English newspaper articles. The viewpoints of English two-word verbs of some linguists such as Douglas Biber, Randolph Quirk, Rocderick A.Jacobs, and so on are mentioned in theorecal background to lay the foundation for this study. The study is carried out through the quantitative and quanlitative approach. The data of the study collected from various English newspapers are analyzed in semantic and syntactic features. Some teaching and learning implications for teachers and students are also included.
