22286Geriatrics at your fingertips 2013 : 15th ed.
This is one of the best quick references for taking care of geriatric patients in the primary care setting. It is not too bulky and perfect size to fit in a lab coat pocket. Covers all of the major concerns for geriatric patients including many assessment tools. One of the few things I wish it did include is a Dementia assessment tool. It does however discuss the tool. Suggest it for anyone caring for geriatric patients.
22287German aces of the Russian front
Luftwaffe pilots of the Russian Front were the highest scoring aces of any aerial conflict in history. This book traces the careers of the pilots who flew the Fw 190 and the Bf 109 in the skies over Russia, and reveals how they achieved their remarkable successes. The Bf 109 was the most commonly used fighter on the Front, and saw action from Operation Barbarossa through to the Defence of the Reich in 1945. The Fw 190, meanwhile, proved itself to be arguably Germany's best piston-engined fighter, with many of its aces scoring over 100 kills.

Their stories have often been published, but never have as many photographs of the aces been assembled within the pages of one volume. Of necessity these photos vary widely in style, format and quality, yet they serve to reveal a good deal of information about the pilots and the multitude of different uniforms and decorations they wore...
