PRONUNCIATION and SPEECH TRAINING

About the Training:

English has emerged as a global language and its correct knowledge is essential to excel in professional world. Good pronunciation is very important for good spoken communication. Speaking English with correct pronunciation is an asset to the personality, and knowing grammar and vocabulary are important but is of no value, if one is unable to pronounce those structures or words correctly. This training or workshop will focus on the basic elements of pronunciation and improving the English sounds and rhythm through drills .

Objectives:

To acquaint participants with various sounds English language

To develop confidence in speaking in academic environment

To recognize the attributes of a good speaking voice and improve vocalization

To drill on vowels and consonants in syllable, words, phrases and sentences.

Pedagogy of the Workshop or Training:

Lectures, Exercises for Reading aloud

Exercise for Dialogues

AV Presentation and Role Plays

Feedback and Interactive Discussions

Outcome of the Workshop:

Participants will acquire basic knowledge in the English pronunciation including stress pattern, pitch, rate and intonation

Develop proficiency in speaking fluent and correct English

Certificate :

Participants shall awarded on the successful completion of the training or workshop.
