This study aims at developing a computer vision tool to segment images capturing surface of reinforced concrete structures. The image processing technique of Gabor filter is used with k-Means clustering algorithm and principal component analysis to automatically segment damages on concrete surface including spall, crack, bughole, and stain.

Present new results on the synthesis of nitrogen-doped GQDs (NGQDs) and sulfur-doped GQDs (S-GQDs) and their respective optical properties such as absorption spectra, fluorescence, and Raman spectra. The fluorescent mechanisms of GQDs, N-GQDs, and S-GQDs will also be clarified and explained.

In this study, we observed the evolution of a cavitation bubble induced by focusing a nanosecond-pulsed laser on an epoxy-resin surface using a photoelasticity imaging technique. The radius-time curve of the bubble within the first 1000 ns was reported for different pulse energies from 20 to 60 mJ.

Study convergence in probability for the estimator of nonparametric regression model based on pairwise independent errors with heavy tails. Firstly, we investigate laws of large numbers for sequences of pairwise independent random variables with heavy tails. By applying this result, we investigate convergence in probability for the estimator of nonparametric regression model.

In this work, we prepared and studied spectroscopic properties of Dy3+ ions in lithiumsodium aluminoborate glasses. Judd - Ofelt theory has been used to evaluate intensity parameters Ωλ (λ = 2, 4, 6) by analyzing the absorption spectrum of ABLN: Dy3+ glass, and calculated the radiative transition probabilities, branching ratios, radiative lifetimes of 4F9/2 excited level, stimulated emission cross - section for selected.

This paper reviews air pollution situation in Ho Chi Minh city and Ha Noi. We also recommend policies to tackle the problem: (i) upgrade the national air quality standard, (ii) install systematic and high-quality network of monitor stations, and (iii) remove means of transport that unmet emission regulations.

Sử dụng cluster 6 nguyên tử bạc Ag6, vàng Au6 và hợp kim của chúng Ag6-nAun (n=1-5) làm chất nền hấp phụ để tính toán SERS cho hợp chất formaldehyde. Phương pháp DFT được sử dụng để tối ưu hóa các cấu hình tương tác khác nhau giữa chất nghiên cứu và cluster. Phổ Raman và SERS tương ứng của chúng cũng được tính toán.
